Why are we?

The game is changing

Leadership development and practice is based on principles that have matured over several centuries. The problem is that these principles are ill-suited for an increasingly disrupted world. 

'No rules' are the new rules

We are advocating an approach that is both radical, necessary and optimised for the so called 'infinite game'. In essence, we intend to help leaders acknowledge, understand and capitalise on the 'new rules'.

People and planet first

Our approach puts people and the planet centre stage. This is not based on innocent idealism, nor an attempt to ‘fad surf’. It is based on optimising human nature and thereby converting cognition, coupled with our ability to sense and act, into value.

We focus on:

  • Reinventing governance.
  • What it means to be an effective leader.
  • Creating organisations optimised for uncertainty and increasing volatility.

We believe leaders are the linchpin.

What are we?

We are a think (and do) tank focused on resetting what it means to be a leader in this increasingly uncertain world.

This involves awareness raising on why leadership needs to change along with guidance on how to effect this change.

Our thinking is evolving dynamically and we are always on the lookout for people to share their perspectives and thus potentially reshape our message and mission.

How do we do it?

We are a growing community of people who share an interest in leadership, humanity and the planet.

We produce research, reports and thought leadership focused on helping leaders navigate an unknowable future.

We work with executive education providers to support their endeavours to provide content relevant to leading in an unknowable world.

We look for every opportunity to influence government policies that may in some way impact the future of leadership, society or the planet.
